I tried to capture the sitting and sailing swallows who visit the farm.
The first layer of silver is carefully pierced, drawing the birds with my jewelers hand saw.
The piece involves several steps of soldering and then oxidized to creat the contrast in the silver.
The pendants are both on 20' sterling silver snake chains.
