This pendant starts with a sheet of metal and with each negative space i.e, trees and swallows is pierced with a drill bit and then carefully handcut with the jewelers hand saw. We finish with filing, sanding and then some time on the buffing wheel. We have sold more than one of these pieces, but as with everything we create, there are slight variations from producing exclusively by hand.
The silver square is approximately 1'. We soldered a piece of sterling square tubing to the top to compliment the square and also for function for the sterling silver snake chain.
